There is no biography here — no date of birth, no city, no photograph. Not because any of it is a secret, but because none of it would help you read the book.
He does not do interviews. He does not confirm or deny the events described in I Had to Die Twice to Write This. On the rare occasion he speaks about it at all, he has said only that he wrote down exactly what he remembers, in the order he remembered it, and that he is not in a position to explain any of it further.
The book is the story he chose to tell, and what it leaves open stays open.
